Tips for better results
- Use headphones with the mic: if sound comes out of your speakers, the mic picks it up and feeds back.
- Very large pitch shifts create artifacts; find the smallest change that gets the effect you want.
- Move the formants as well as the pitch to change the voice's character without the sped-up-tape sound.
- Start from the closest effect and refine it in the advanced controls; double-click any control to reset it.

Which effects are included?
17: Chipmunk, Helium, Frog, 8-bit, Demon, Ghost, Vampire, Cave, Robot, Alien, T-Pain tuner, Deep voice, Anime, Whisper, Radio, Megaphone and Echo chamber. All of them can be adjusted.
Can I hear the effect while I speak?
Yes. Turn on the microphone and live monitoring, always with headphones, and record the take to download it.
What are formants?
The resonances of the throat and mouth that give each voice its character. Moving them separately from pitch avoids the sped-up-tape effect and gives more childlike or larger-sounding voices.
How is it different from Pitch Shifter?
Pitch Shifter only raises or lowers pitch, mainly to change a song's key. Voice Changer combines pitch, formants and several effects to create a character.
Does it change my voice in games or voice chat?
No. It isn't installed as a virtual microphone, so it doesn't affect other apps. Record clips with the effect and use them wherever you like.
Is my voice uploaded?
No. The effects are applied in your browser and the file is created on your device.
