About Slowed + Reverb

Slowed + Reverb lowers a song's tempo, keeping its pitch or lowering it if you prefer, and adds atmospheric reverb. It's the most flexible tool in the family: it brings together the TikTok Slowed, Nightcore Reverse and Vaporwave presets, plus a free mode with speed from 50 to 100% and reverb from 0 to 200% so you can build your own sound.

    80% speed and medium reverb (50%). The most versatile and the most recognizable on social media.

    75% and light reverb (30%). More dramatic, with the voice very present.

    65% and heavy reverb (80%). Slow, hazy and nostalgic.

    Speed from 50 to 100% and reverb from 0 to 200%, each on its own.

  • Pitch: your call

    By default the pitch is kept and the voice doesn't get deeper. With «lower pitch», it drops along with the speed, vinyl-style.

Tips for better results

  • For most songs, the comfortable range is 65 to 80% speed.
  • If the voice gets lost in the reverb, lower the reverb before touching the speed.
  • The slower the song, the more reverb it can take without getting muddy.
  • If you only want to change the tempo, without reverb, Tempo Changer gives you more precise control.

Frequently asked questions

Does slowing down change the pitch?

Only if you want it to. By default the song slows down but keeps its pitch; choose «lower pitch» and the pitch drops with the speed for that slow-motion effect.

Can I set speed and reverb separately?

Yes. In Custom you have two independent sliders: speed from 50 to 100% and reverb from 0 to 200%. High reverb values are great for ambient and experimental effects.

How much can I slow a song down?

Down to 50%, half speed. For most slowed versions, the best-sounding range is 65 to 80%.

Which preset should I choose?

TikTok Slowed for the most recognizable social media sound; Nightcore Reverse for something dramatic with the voice up front; Vaporwave for a very slow, hazy result.

How is it different from Add Reverb?

Add Reverb only adds space and keeps the original speed. Slowed + Reverb also slows the song down for that relaxed, dreamy mood.

Can I use the slowed version in my videos?

You can, but the original song still has its copyright. To stay safe, work with your own, royalty-free or licensed music.
