Nightcore Reverse flips the nightcore idea: instead of speeding up, it slows the song to 75% and adds a light 30% reverb, keeping the original pitch (or lowering it along with the speed, if you prefer). The result is slow and dramatic, with the voice still up front. It's stronger than TikTok Slowed (80%) and less extreme than Vaporwave (65%).

What happens to your song
Tempo at 75%
A 120 BPM track becomes 90 BPM: clearly slower, but it keeps its structure.
Longer length
A 4:00 song stretches to 5:20.
Pitch intact or lower
By default the pitch doesn't drop and the voice sounds natural. Choose «lower pitch» and it drops with the speed, like a record at fewer RPM.
Light reverb, 30%
Adds depth without clouding things: the voice stays in front, unlike the slowed effects with more reverb.
Tips for better results
- For something even more dramatic try 70%; for a subtler change, 80%.
- For more atmosphere without going full vaporwave, raise the reverb toward 50% and keep the speed at 75%.
- Want a deeper voice too? Choose «lower pitch» and the voice drops along with the speed.
- If your edit is short, trim the section first with Audio Trimmer and process only that part.
Frequently asked questions
Why is it called Nightcore Reverse?
Because it does the opposite of nightcore: that speeds the song up and raises the pitch for energy; this slows it down for emotion. Hence names like reverse nightcore or anti-nightcore.
Does it change the pitch of the song?
Not by default: it slows down keeping the original pitch. If you want deeper vocals, choose «lower pitch» and the pitch will drop along with the speed.
Is it the same as daycore?
They're often used as synonyms, although some call daycore the versions that also lower the pitch. Here you can do both: keep the pitch or choose «lower pitch».
How is it different from TikTok Slowed and Vaporwave?
All three slow the song down, in different doses: TikTok Slowed at 80% with medium reverb, Nightcore Reverse at 75% with light reverb and Vaporwave at 65% with heavy reverb.
Can I adjust speed and reverb separately?
Yes. In Custom you have two independent sliders — speed from 50 to 100% and reverb from 0 to 200% — and you can choose whether the pitch is kept or lowered.
