What speed is nightcore?
The standard is 125%, 25% faster than the original. Some prefer 120% for something gentler or 130 to 150% for more energy, and you have all of those in Custom.
Does nightcore change the pitch?
Yes, and it's part of the style: the classic formula raises it about 3 semitones, so vocals sound higher and brighter. Here you can set that change from -12 to +12 semitones.
How is it different from just speeding a song up?
Sped up changes the speed without touching the pitch, so the voice sounds the same, only faster. Nightcore moves speed and pitch together, which gives it its high, energetic character.
What BPM will my song have?
With the preset, the original BPM times 1.25. Since most songs are 110 to 140 BPM, nightcore usually lands between 140 and 180. If you don't know the starting tempo, check it with BPM Detector.
What's the opposite of nightcore?
