Tips for better results
- Always select what you want to keep: everything outside the handles is removed.
- For a ringtone, pick a 30 to 40-second section and add a fade-out.
- If the cut sounds abrupt, move the handle to a silence or the start of a bar, or add a short fade.
- Lower the playback speed when you need to cut right before a hit or a syllable.
Frequently asked questions
How do I cut part of a song?
Place the handles around what you want to keep: everything before the start and after the end disappears when you trim. If the part to remove is in the middle, trim both pieces separately and join them with Audio Joiner.
Can I hear the cut before downloading?
Yes. Click «Play the selection» or press the space bar. With loop on, the clip repeats and you can move the handles while it plays until you hit the exact spot.
Which format is the download?
MP3, WAV, FLAC or OGG. For MP3 you choose the quality, up to 320 kbps.
How long can the fades be?
